Some boxes have been created as “masters”, for use in any LibGuide. The main benefit of this is that global changes can be made that flow through to wherever these boxes are used.

These "masters", which we refer to as our mapped boxes, will have an original location on one of our template guides:

• AA RSG Mapped boxes
• AA Asset source of truth
• AA LRG 1p template
• AA RSG 1st Year Template                  [The AA has been added so that these guides appear first in an alphabetical list.]

These mapped boxes include:

• Boxes that are used in the Library Resource Guides
• Boxes that contain videos from the Library's Training Tutorials & Videos webpage
• Other boxes that might be used multiple times such as boxes with contact links or commonly used resources.

They will probably already be in the “template” that you are using, but you can add them if you need to. (Click on Add Box, and choose to Reuse Existing Box.) Once you have inserted one of these boxes in your LibGuide, you will notice that it is tagged with "Edit mode is disabled for mapped boxes".
