Accessibility & HTML - Introduction

While preparing your guide, it’s important to consider the needs of staff and students with various disabilities. 
For example, staff and students using your guide might have:

  • Visual impairments
  • Colour blindness
  • Dyslexia or learning disabilities.

These staff and students will have an improved user experience if our guides meet the criteria for accessibility.

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) are the international technical standards that web developers use to ensure their content is more accessible for people with disabilities.
