CRO: Adding Research Outputs, Impact, Engagement and Scholarly Activities

A guide to using the different forms in CRO / Pure to enter Impact, Engagement, Scholarly Activities, Awards, Press and Media, as well as the more traditional Research Outputs.

Adding non-public evidence

Use the following fields to provide the evidence of your research impact that you do not wish to display publicly:

Add Impact Evidence

You must provide evidence to support the claims made in your impact story including:
•    Your involvement in engagement activities which contributed to impact
•    Evidence of outcomes arising from research engagement activities.
•    Evidence of implementation of outcomes by end-users leading to impact.
•    Evidence of the impacts for beneficiaries and the degree of recognition of impact.

Confidential evidence can be provided securely via this form. It will not be made public via the portal and will only appear to PURE administrators, and yourself as the creator of this impact record:

The visibility of documents can be set in the ‘add document’ form:

Evidence will be provided to the Engagement and Impact Assessment Panel for review.

The evidence record provides space to collect relevant contact information to verify information or testimonials if necessary.

Do not add links or documents relating to research outputs, activities, press media or other records already stored in CRO/PURE. Add these via the ‘Relations’ section of the CRO form (see Relations tab in this guide for more information).

Provide a categorisation of the evidence you are providing.
If you have multiple pieces of evidence by category, i.e multiple images, or press links you can add more than one file or link to the evidence record:
