What is EndNote?

EndNote is a bibliographic management software that you can get free from Charles Sturt Library. With EndNote you can:

  • record and manage the details of journals and books you have found in your research;
  • store and manage PDF copies of articles you have downloaded;
  • insert in-text citations and reference-list entries into essays.

The version of  EndNote currently available from Charles Sturt Library is EndNote 20.

NOTE: Before installing EndNote 20, please ensure you have uninstalled any previous versions, such as EndNote X9 or EndNote X8, or a demo copy [30-day trial].
