If you haven't started using EndNote yet to help you organise your references and cite-while-you-write, now is the time to bite the bullet. It may take a short while to get used to it and set it up, but in the end it will save you hours of time. The Library has created the Discover EndNote modules that will get you started. Before installing the latest version of EndNote on a personal computer, please ensure you have uninstalled any previous versions of EndNote, For information on how to uninstall EndNote please see Uninstalling EndNote in our EndNote Guide.

When you start EndNote the first time, you will be presented with the Welcome to EndNote guide screen prompting you to set up an account in EndNote Online.

Once you have created an EndNote Library you can begin adding references to your Library. References can either be entered manually or can be downloaded/exported from Primo Search, the journal databases or from Google Scholar.
Once references have been added to EndNote you then have the option of attaching PDFs to those records.
