The referencing style used in HIP101 is APA 7th.

The two main resources are:

• The Charles Sturt APA Referencing Summary - a 24-page PDF available online.
• The ART (Academic Referencing Tool) - an online interactive tool

You can also use:

• Reference Examples - chapter 10 from the 7th edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, available online as a PDF
• APA Style Blog (APA 7th) - You can search this site for Question & Answer type articles on tricky referencing situations.

Plagiarism is taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off as your own. In your studies, you must not plagiarise.

Turnitin is a plagiarism-checking service which checks your work for unoriginal content and improper citation. It's used by Charles Sturt University and you can use it yourself to check your own work.
