What is EndNote?

EndNote is a software that you can use to organise your references. You can use it to:

  • store, manage, group, and format your references;
  • create reference lists;
  • insert in-text citations and reference lists in Word documents;
  • attach the PDFs of articles to references.

Please note:

  • EndNote cannot replace having a good knowledge of referencing. You still need to know how to reference!
  • As with any software, you need to learn how to use it.

The Library can help you with downloading, installing, and using Endnote.

The best place to start to learn about EndNote is the Library's EndNote Library Guide.
