SPH511 Research Skills Guide: Home

This guide is designed to help you search the Allied Health literature for material on speech pathology. It has been produced by a librarian working with the subject coordinator for SPH511.

It introduces you to:

  • searching in Primo Search
  • searching in the EBSCOhost database CINAHL Plus with Full Text. CINAHL is a reputable and health-specific resource which is known for its health-focus, scholarly content, and sophisticated search functions.
  • searching in SpeechBite, a free evidence-based database for speech pathologists.

The tutorial is divided into topics, represented by the tabs across the top. Most of the topics have an introductory page, then a series of sub-pages.
