Medicine: Searching in Scopus

Introduction to Scopus

Scopus is an example of a citation index because each article record includes a list of citing articles. This means that if you find an article of interest you can look at subsequent articles that have cited it. You can find important articles on a topic, and follow research paths.

This database does not contain the full-text of articles, so you will need to click on the  Find it links to access the full-text in another of our databases.

Scopus is a multi-subject database, it covers: medicine, dentistry, nursing, veterinary science, and the health professions - as well as the life sciences, physical sciences, and social sciences & humanities.

Charles Sturt Library also subscribes to the Web of Science Core Collection, as an alternative citation index.
