The Referencing at CSU webpage has lots of information on referencing.

The referencing style used in the School of Environmental Sciences is APA 7th.

For help with using APA 7th, you can use:

• The Academic Referencing Tool (ART)
• Reference Examples - chapter 10 from the 7th edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, available online as a PDF.
• APA Style Blog (APA 7th) - You can search this site for Question & Answer type articles on tricky referencing situations.
• APA 7th Reference Quick Guide - a 2 page summary of the three most commonly used sources -  Journal article; Book; and Chapter in an edited book - with templates and instructions
• APA Style Reference Examples - 4 pages of examples of common types of APA Style references.

It's handy to download (and even print out) the APA referencing summary, so you always have it on hand. Use the ART tool for quick checking, and the APA website and blog for tricky questions. You can also make an appointment with an Academic Advisor, use the Academic Skills Advisor Forum or attend a workshop.
