The ARC and NHMRC have adopted policies requiring research outputs to be freely accessible / open access.
You can make your work open access by one of two ways:
The Open Access Publishing Scheme for 2022 is open to Charles Sturt researchers in all faculties on a first come, first served basis, whilst funds are available.
A maximum of $4,000AUD is available as a contribution to open access publishing fees. For this scheme the article must be published in a peer-reviewed and 100% open access journal. Please read the guidelines before applying.

Charles Sturt are currently signing Read & Publish agreements. Through these agreements you can publish Open Access articles in the journals covered by these agreements,. You don't need to pay any Article Processing Charges (APCs).
The first of these agreements will start in January 2022.
