The National Library of Australia (NLA) subscribes to a number of databases, accessible online from outside the library, including business, literature, arts, social science, health and multidisciplinary databases. The Library also has Research Guides on many subjects, featuring key library resources, websites and case studies.

You can access the National Library’s eResources page to search for articles, journals, ebooks, databases and more.

State Library of NSW

The State Library of NSW has a dedicated HSC site where you'll find information and featured content for your subjects, help online, resources you can use at home, and research guides that bring together resources relevant to particular subjects.

The State Library has a suite of eResources that New South Wales residents with a Library card, or a registered NSW public library card can access from anywhere, anytime.

To make the most of the State Library of NSW online resources register and obtain a card.

Public Libraries

Public libraries provide a range of onsite and online resources and services to their local communities. Check with your nearest library for details.

Many will also offer an inter library loan service if they don’t hold the particular resources you require.
