PHC190 Research Skills Guide: Home

Introduction

Hi. I'm Kathryn, your embedded librarian and I've created this guide to help you with your research for PHC190.

This guide was made for you by Librarians from the Charles Sturt Library. It is designed to make your research process easier.

This guide will explain the best way to:

  • Identify keywords and search strategies for your assessment
  • Find relevant resources using the Library and the Internet
  • Evaluate your results for suitability
  • Use the information in your assessment

I recommend taking a few minutes to familiarise yourself with the content so you know what's in there in case you find yourself stuck later on.

Keep in mind that research is not a linear process and may not always follow a particular order of steps.

If you need assistance with anything library or research related, please contact the library.

Wishing you the best for the study ahead.
