Law: Secondary resources

Secondary sources are the first place to go to obtain a general understanding of aspects of the law.  Use legal encyclopaedias, dictionaries, books, journal articles and commentary to gradually hone down to the specific information you need.  From there you will be directed to the relevant primary source material (legislation and case law).
