Database help screens

For more help on using a database or a database platform, you can use the Help screens within the resource itself.

Look for a link to Help, or a Question-Mark icon.

Many databases have a range of help resources: textual guides; videos, online tutorials; FAQs.

Online Library Workshops

Each session the Library runs a series of Library Workshops which are open to all students. Library staff take you through different resources and tools that will help you with your study and research. There are two workshops on using databases.

  • Online Library 101
  • Finding Journal Articles
  • Using eBooks
  • Library Research: Using Library Databases
  • Library Research: Advanced Library Databases
  • Discover EndNote

All you need in order to take part is an Internet connection and headset, but you do need to register for each workshop.
