Charles Sturt University holds a current Statutory licence which allows the University to copy and communicate print materials, provided following conditions are met and the section 113P notice is displayed.
The copies should be placed in eReserve if not available electronically and linked from Interact2.
Limits apply across the whole University and are managed by the Library eReserve team. The limits (1 chapter, 10%, 1 article) are strictly adhered to.
Examples of limits include:
eBooks must be used in accordance with their licences which generally allow University academic staff to provide students with links either to the book or an individual chapter.
eBook and electronic journal links can be embedded in Interact2 by creating links to Resources.
Students can be provided with links to legitimate books, book chapters, journals, or specific journal articles.
Some online books and journals are published under an Open Access or Creative Commons licence and can be used in accordance with the conditions of the licence.
