What is EndNote?
EndNote is a tool that can be used to:
store and manage your references
store and annotate attached PDF files
add citations and
generate a list of references in Microsoft Word.
EndNote is available for students and staff to download, install and use whilst enrolled and/or working at CSU.
How to use this guide
This guide has been designed to alert users to key options and functions in EndNote, with detailed instructions provided in linked PDF files and YouTube video guides published by Clarivate Analytics.

In order to use EndNote effectively, you should be familiar with
CSU referencing requirements and the referencing style used by your School.
Using APA 7 th Edition: Follow these steps to start using APA 7 th as your output style:
CSU APA 7 style Double-click the file that you downloaded, to open it in EndNote
File > Save As Remove the word
Copy from the style name Select
File > Close Style
