You can use this guide any way you like; read it front to back or dip in and out as required. I recommend taking a few minutes to familiarise yourself with the content so you know what's in there in case you find yourself stuck later on. You might also like to look at the Islamic Studies Library Resource Guide, which has a huge collection of resources you could use during your research.
Keep in mind that research is not a linear process and may not always follow a particular order of steps. Most important of all, use your librarians! If you need help with anything library or research related, get in touch with the library.
Wishing you the best for the study ahead.
The Research & Referencing Quiz will asses you on how to research sources, as well as how to reference sources using Chicago Style Referencing. It will refer to content within this guide, and answers to some of the questions will be provided here.
Details about completing the quiz will be provided in your subjects' Interact 2 site.
We would love to know how this guide helps you with research in this subject! Your feedback helps us to improve our content and delivery.
All responses are anonymous. This survey should take no longer than 3 mins to complete.
