ELS503 Research Skills Guide: 3.6 Google Scholar

2.6 Google Scholar

Google Scholar

Google Scholar is Google's scholarly search engine and searches for scholarly literature from many sources including academic publishers, professional societies, universities and other scholarly organisations. Results may include peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, abstracts and articles.

While some of the results are Open Access, others are from subscribed sources and the full text will not be available.

Google Scholar may retrieve very large  results sets.

Configure Google Scholar

This video will show you how to configure Google Scholar to link to CSU Library's online resources.
