Research Data Management at Charles Sturt: Plan and Design

Plan your data management

This is the first step in of managing your research data. You'll map out the processes and resources required for your data throughout your entire project, then complete a Data Management Plan (DMP), which will incorporate many of these points.

A Data Management Plan documents how your data will be managed throughout your research project and after completion.

Charles Sturt's RDM Policy states that researchers have a responsibility to develop a DMP in accordance with the Research Data Management Guidelines.

Top tip: Use the information in this guide to help you complete your DMP.
