In the CINAHL database, try the search: ("computed tomography" OR CT) AND "radiation dos*" AND (reduc* OR decreas* OR limit*) entered as in the example below.
- AND is a boolean operator to combine concepts
- OR is used to search for synonyms
- quotation marks "" are used to search for a phrase
- asterix * is a truncation symbol added to a stem word, to expand search results
- try restricting the search fields to Title and Abstract - XB, for more relevant results.

Alternatively, you could try searching for the key concepts you have identified from your own assessment topic.
- Try limiting by publication date to see the most recent material and/or choose a subject limiter to make your results more relevant.
- Look at the HTML and PDF links to access the full text of the article. If you cannot find a link to the full text of an article follow the
link to find out if it is available in another journal database.
