Writing Support

 The Academic Skills Team has a range of services and resources to help you with your assignments:

  • Individual appointments with an Academic Skills Adviser for personal help seven days a week.
  • Online workshops on writing assignments, referencing, and study skills.
  • A collection of self-help resources on Academic Writing.  Includes videos with transcripts, and written PDF guides.
  • The Academic Skills Forum is an ideal place to post those vexing questions about assignment writing techniques. Access the forum from the Brightspace My Subjects - Academic Skills Support Widget.

The Learning Skills Advisers Team has also partnered with education provider Studiosity to provide an Assignment Writing Feedback service, where you can submit a draft of an assignment and receive feedback on your academic writing.
