Writing Support

 The Academic Skills Team has a range of services and resources to help you with your assignments:

• Individual appointments with an Academic Skills Adviser for personal help seven days a week.
• Online workshops on writing assignments, referencing, and study skills.
• A collection of self-help resources on Academic Writing.  Includes videos with transcripts, and written PDF guides.
• The Study Success Discussion Forum, where you can post questions about assignment writing techniques. Find it in Interact2 > Study Success > Discussion.

The Learning Skills Advisers Team has also partnered with education provider Studiosity to provide an Assignment Writing Feedback service, where you can submit a draft of an assignment and receive feedback on your academic writing.

Referencing

Charles Sturt's Referencing webpage has lots of helpful information about referencing.

The most commonly used referencing style used at Charles Sturt is APA 7th. Check with your lecturer as to which style you are required to use.
