Guide for VSC262 Veterinary Reproduction

Introduction

Welcome to the VSC262 Research Skills Guide.

If you would like a refresher about other library skills, such as sources of information, using Primo and Google Scholar, evaluating information, and more, head over to the VSC110 Library Research Skills guide.

This guide is written specifically for the subject VSC262 however, the Animal & Veterinary Sciences library resource guide will provide you with an overview of resources that can help you during your studies.

This guide is designed to make your research process easier and focuses on:

  • Journal database searching
  • Scholarly publication
  • Publishing your research

You can use this guide any way you like; read it front to back or dip in and out as required. I recommend taking a few minutes to familiarise yourself with the content so you know what's there in case you find yourself stuck later on.

Keep in mind that research is not a linear process and may not always follow a particular order of steps.

Most importantly, use your librarians! If you need help with anything library or research related, get in touch with the library.

Wishing you the best for the study ahead.
