Journal articles are an important source of academic or scholarly information as they tend to provide up-to-date information on very specific topics. Most journal articles are available online and a growing number are now available on open access. Open access scholarly publications are freely available online to all. Many scholarly journal articles are still subscribed resources that your Library pays for to ensure access for students and staff, so it's best to search for articles by journal title or article title in Primo Search. Or click on the Find it at CSU button on our journal databases.
At right is a list of key nursing journals (all peer-reviewed), which link through to Primo search. It's recommended however that if you're trying to find articles on a particular topic, you use the journal databases to search for relevant information. That is a lot more efficient than ploughing through tables of contents in specific journals.
