Using Library Resources in Interact 2

The purpose of this Library Guide is to describe how to incorporate Library resources into your learning sites in Interact 2. This site presents step-by-step instructions on how to incorporate various media including database articles, Primo links, DOMs objects and videos from various sources.

To look at step-by-step instructions on embedding a resource click on the link on the left for the resource type you want to embed.

If you would like to see real examples on a live Interact 2 site there is a Library Faculty Liaison demonstration organisation in Interact 2, which gives mock examples for each resource type. To access the I2 demonstration site you will need to join the organisation by following the steps below:

  1.  Launch Interact 2
  2. From the I2 start page, click on 'Organisations' on the top right:
  3. Just below the Organisations link, type 'Library Faculty Liaison' into the 'Organisation Search' box and click on 'Go':
  4. Place your cursor over the name 'O-gfryFL' that appears under the list of 'Organisation IDs' and click on the drop down arrow that appears':
  5. Click on the 'Enrol' link that appears:                                       
  6. You can now view the contents of the site by clicking on it in your list of organisations in Interact 2.
