NRS223 Research Skills Guide: Home

INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the NRS223 Research Skills Guide.

This guide is designed to make your research process easier for Assessment 1 which requires you to analyse a case study & address some points.

The guide is intended to help you with this assessment by focusing on:

  • using search techniques in nursing databases
  • locating scholarly information
  • evaluating information

If you would like a refresher about other library skills, such as sources of information, interpreting citations, locating reserve/ereserve material, or evaluating internet resources and more, head over to the NRS111 Research Skills Guide.

Most important of all, use your librarians! If you need help with anything library or research related, get in touch with the library.

Wishing you the best for the study ahead.
