EBSCOhost is probably the most-used platform at CSU. It has databases relevant to most of the areas taught at CSU.
You can change the database(s) you are searching in by clicking on the Choose databases link above the 3 search boxes.
The default is to the Advanced Search screen, with its 3 search boxes. The default search - Select a Field (optional) - is to search across the main fields of each record. You can change this if you like: searching only in title, or in subject, will often return better and more relevant results.
The default to a keyword search: if you enter multiple words, the database will insert the AND operator between them. If you wish to search for a phrase, you will need to enclose your words in double quotation marks.
Most of your results should have the full-text attached. For those that don't, use the Find it - CSU links to search for the full item in other subscription databases.
If you want to go back to a previous search to view results, click on the Search History link below the search boxes. This displays a table of all the searches you have run since last login. You can combine previous searches using AND or OR.
