Access journal databases through your workplace

Workplaces such as government departments, police forces and fire services may have a library and subscribe to relevant journal databases.  Large companies may also subscribe to databases relevant to their work.

If you work for any of the organisations below you may have access to journal databases, depending on the policies of your employer:

Australian Federal Police Library

AIPM Library (Australian Institute of Police Management)

NSW Police Force Academy Library - provides services to NSW Police Force employees

ALIES - Directory of Australian Emergency Services libraries

Victoria Police Library

NSW Rural Fire Service Library

Professional Associations

Some professional associations provide resources such as journal database access included as part of their membership.  Some organisations also offer access their own library, for example, the Police Association of NSW Library
