AGR402 Research Skills Guide: Home

Welcome to the AGR402 Library Database Tutorial.

This tutorial was made for you by Librarians from Charles Sturt Library. It is designed to make your research process easier. Please note that this tutorial is assessable.

The Library Database Tutorial explains the process of developing a research question into a search strategy and shares the techniques and skills you will need to conduct an effective search using several databases that are relevant to your discipline.

Keep in mind that research is not a linear process and may not always follow a particular order of steps. It is perfectly normal to find yourself moving forward and backward between the activities in this tutorial as you search for information.

Most important of all, use your librarians! If you need help with anything library-related, get in touch with the library. Library staff are here to help; you aren't expected to know everything about research and the Library can help point you in the right direction.

Wishing you the best for the study ahead.
