MGT382 Research Skills Guide: Use Primo Search

What is Primo Search?

Primo Search allows you to use one search box to bring back results from most of the Charles Sturt University Library collection, such as:

  • Books, eBooks, DVDs and journals
  • Most online journal articles and newspaper articles
  • Charles Sturt University research papers and theses

Enter your search terms, and then use the links on the results screen to refine your results, view online material, or locate physical resources.

Why use eBooks?

Books are a great resource to get an overview, introduction, or background information on a topic. eBooks have additional benefits including instant access anywhere, anytime and full text searching. Most eBook collections will have options to browse through topics or search for books or book chapters by keyword. For more information about how to read and download eBooks see the eBooks Library Guide. But Primo Search is a great way to search for eBooks - limit your search to books and online resources.

The full range of eBook collections and subject areas can be found here. And for more information on eBooks - look in the Management Library Resource Guide.
