Organise your Readings and Resources list by topics or by custom arrangement using the Blank template. Additional sections can be added at any time and surplus sections from the Topics template can be removed.
The topics template contains sections for both the required and cited readings and resources.
The sections in the Topics template will be titled:
Topic 1-12: Required
Topic 1-12: Cited
Additional sections can be added (i.e. Assessment 1 or Exam Preparation) and inessential sections from the template can be removed or hidden from student view.
Add the required and recommended readings for the subject into the section that correspond to the learning modules (see, Add content to your list). Include the items that students are instructed to refer to as part of their coursework.
Add readings and resources that were used to develop the topic in the learning modules. These items are often included in a reference list at the end of a topic in the learning modules. Students may not be required to engage with these as part of their coursework but may find them useful to further develop their knowledge.
Items included in the Cited section may or may not be held by the Library.
If the item is held by the Library, add the item using the instructions appropriate for the resource (see, Add content to your list).
If the item is not held by the Library, add the item manually (see, Use manual entry). Leave the Source field blank and add a public note: This resource is not held by Charles Sturt University Library.
Run a search in Primo Search for the title or contact your Library Faculty Team to check whether the Library holds an item.
Charles Sturt University acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands on which its campuses are located, paying respect to Elders, both past and present, and extend that respect to all First Nations Peoples.
