Records or groups of records found in Primo Search and other online databases, such as EBSCO, ProQuest, Scopus and Web of Science, can be directly exported to your Endnote Library.

The steps required to export records to EndNote varies between databases and the browser you are using at the time.

Notes:

1. Records downloaded into an EndNote library will often need to be edited in order to meet the requirements of your referencing style, e.g. changing the title to sentence case for use with APA style, adding missing details such as volume & issue numbers, page numbers and DOI.

TIP: Check each record in the Preview tab to ensure it looks correct for the selected referencing style.

2. The Macintosh™ Safari browser does not support direct export. References exported from an online database using Safari are saved to the Downloads folder. Direct export of records in EndNote (RIS) format from Primo Search does not work at all.
